Lead by a full-time Activities Director, our activities department brings a diverse fun loving attitude to the Mountain Valley Manor on a daily basis. Activities are an essential part of our care and are constantly evolving and improving.
Mountain Valley Manor Adult home is the brain child of Taber McNaughton and Salvatore DePoala who in 2006 began the construction of the facility. Taber and Sal can typically be found in the halls of Mountain Valley Manor.
The day to day operations are the responsibility of our administrator and assistant administrator.
Managed by a full time cook, our dietary department creates nutritious and delicious meals daily. Working in cooperation with our dietician Mountain Valley Manor meets and exceeds The Department of Health standards, bringing the best dietary care to our resident family.

Management of medications is one of the primary reasons people choose to stay with us. Timely delivery of doctor prescribed medications is paramount to our resident’s health and an issue that is always at the forefront of our minds. To ensure the safe and timely deliver of medications Mountain Valley Manor Adult Home has a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) on staff.
Our health care office is the nerve center of our direct care, coordinating physician appointments, administering medications and providing assistance with activities with daily living. Mountain Valley Manor Adult Home’s Personal Care Aids are those most intimately involved with our resident’s daily care and we take pride in providing a compassionate and caring personal care team.
Our housekeeping team keeps our home clean and free of germs. Mountain Valley Manor Adult Care housekeepers are a friendly and helpful group who will help residents to move in, clean rooms, and offer a friendly smile in our hallways.
Maintenance of our home is a never ending endeavor that is over-seen by a full-time Maintenance Manager. The Maintenance Department keeps our home running smoothly, staying a step ahead of any potential problems and keeping us in compliance with The Department of Health regulations.
